About the inspiration behind it all
The late Pastor A.M Munyai was born and bred in Masisi, a village in Venda. Born into deep poverty, where their next meal was never guaranteed. He hunted wild animals and sold its meat to get himself through school, which is where he met his wife, the late Pastor L.E.M Munyai.

Together they defied the odds and became the greatest power couple. They founded their church, 'The Citadel Christian Church', in Louis Trichardt in June 2004. This church is now under the leadership of their son, Pastor C.P Munyai. It is no secret that these two spiritual giants impacted various lives significantly and anyone who had the honor of meeting them can vouch for this.

They not only encourage and inspire the initiative as a whole, but it is as the result of their training and hard work that has resulted in such an astounding initiative. It would be very unfortunate to leave them out as we build the legacy they began unknowingly.

It is with this reason that the author and founder of this initiative, Abigail Munyai their daughter, felt the need to honor their memory in this regard.

They will forever be missed and cherished, and as they ran the good race of faith, we too continue running in the very same faith.

Their Mission
For her, to see hell empty and heaven full.
For him, to provide a 'citadel', that is a place of fort, a place of safety for the children of God.
Abigail's vision in response to their mission
Just as Solomon's first request from God was to establish the promises He had with his father, she too is trusting God, that before anything else, He establish in her the promises He had made to her parents.
