It was never for you, it was always for them

You are blessed indeed it is true, but have you ever stopped to consider the reason for that blessing. See, you are as rich as the poorest person around you, as strong as the weakest, as fast as the slowest.

What do I mean?

You are blessed to be a blessing. If it was ever about you then your cup would only be filled to the brim, there would be no need for it to run over. God deliberately fills your cup to the extent where it overflows for the sake of those around you, so they too can drink from your cup, so they too can benefit from the blessing of God.

But why?

Because as they drink from your cup, it will inspire a desire for the filling of their own cup, thereby resulting in a hunger for the knowledge of your God. The non-believers will get a taste of what it feels like to be blessed by God and they will want to know and experience and be blessed by Him for themselves.

It has always been said that God has no hands to give,no feet to walk, and as a result we are His hands and feet

So stretch forth your hand and give,share all you have and as you allow others to drink from your cup, it will never stop running over!
