Woman, if help does not come from you it will come from somewhere else.

These are the painful words spoken to Esther by Mordecai, and these are the very words I echo to all women on this day.
Today the world is celebrating women, but as for me I am mourning ,because the women of today sit idle and ignore the power given to them by God. Like Esther we hide in the comforts of our own space, and aslong as we are not affected we could not give a care. Our people are perishing, and the world at large in need of dire help.
I cant help but wonder , where are those women like Hannah who do not yield to pray until their prayers are answered, where are those women like Mary Magdalene who sit and cry at Jesus feet? Is this the women we have become, those who hide in their houses until the storm has passed? Do we not know that there are some situations that need us women to fall on our knees at the feet of Jesus, crying for His mercy?
If help does not come from you it will come from elsewhere!!!
Where are the Dorcas's that feed the widows and the orphans? Where are those women who open their arms to the needy. A donation takes no effort, a hug does. Any selfless gift is worthless, people dont just need food, they need to be comforted, people dont just need provision they need reassurance.
Arise dear women, for if help does not come from you. It will come from elsewhere!!!
Refuse to hide, fight back on your knees. It's not just about money, it's about love and compassion, a reassuring word, whatever it takes to keep our nation together in such trying times.
Women, we are more powerful than we could ever realize, our shoulders have been broadened so that we can help others with their loads. Let us refuse for God to bring help from elsewhere whilst we sit idle. Let us arise. The little you can do is much appreciated.
Arise dear Woman, arise!!!
